HYPERTROPHIC CARDIOMYOPATHY
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is an incurable condition in which the heart muscle becomes abnormally thick which makes it difficult for the heart to pump blood. It often goes undiagnosed and can cause sudden cardiac arrest. This is a rare case study of a young man diagnosed with HCM, given 18 months to live, and his long journey to a full recovery.
POLYCYTHEMIA VERA
Polycythemia Vera (PV) is a rare, slow-growing blood cancer in which your bone marrow makes too many red blood cells. These excess cells thicken your blood, slowing its flow. They also cause complications, such as blood clots, which can lead to a heart attack or stroke. This is a case study of a man with HCM and developed complications of PV in his journey to recovery.

When a woman reaches her 40s or 50s, her ovaries stop producing estrogen. After 12 months of menstruation cessation menopause begins.
