HYPERTROPHIC CARDIOMYOPATHY

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is an incurable condition in which the heart muscle becomes abnormally thick which makes it difficult for the heart to pump blood. It often goes undiagnosed and can cause sudden cardiac arrest. This is a rare case study of a young man diagnosed with HCM, given 18 months to live, and his long journey to a full recovery.

POLYCYTHEMIA VERA

Polycythemia Vera (PV) is a rare, slow-growing blood cancer in which your bone marrow makes too many red blood cells. These excess cells thicken your blood, slowing its flow. They also cause complications, such as blood clots, which can lead to a heart attack or stroke. This is a case study of a man with HCM and developed complications of PV in his journey to recovery.

SYMPTOMS OF MENOPAUSE

When a woman reaches her 40s or 50s, her ovaries stop producing estrogen. After 12 months of menstruation cessation menopause begins. This natural decline in reproductive hormones can cause debilitating and sometimes painful side effects including, hot flashes and vaginal dryness, and sleep disturbances, which are often accompanied by anxiety or depression. We are currently researching the viability of a natural remedy for menopause. If you are interested in this supporting this cause, please contact us directly.
